My first time staying. Innkeepers were charming and very hospitable. Complimentary cordials and baked goods out every night. Gourmet breakfast and great coffee. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown attractions. Just 6 miles to Sunday River…you can actually get sleep here as it’s quiet and a step back in time. I’d definitely stay here again. The innkeepers, John and Jeanette Poole, relocated from Tennessee after visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and falling in love with Maine. Buying the Holidae House was a dream come true for them! They re-opened the Holidae House on June 1, 2015 and have enjoyed their new life in Bethel and managing a Bed and Breakfast.
